Today in Lost in Space History – June 10

Actor Michael Rennie died on this day. (08/25/1909 – 06/10/1971) Age 61. He was in the only two-part episode “The Keeper – Part 1” and “The Keeper – Part 2” in 1966. He, of course was the titular character.

Note: He is also famous as Klatu in “The Day the Earth Stood Still” and as Harry Lime in the TV series “The Third Man” (where Jonathan Harris was his co-star).

Actor Don Forbes was born this day. (June 9, 1912). He appeared in 3 episode of Lost in Space. They were the original unaired pilot “No Place to Hide” (1965) and the first two aired episodes (“The Reluctant Stowaway” (1965) and “The Derelict” (1965). In all three episodes he was the TV Commentator (uncredited).

Actor Michael Fox (not to be confused with Michael J. Fox) died on this day in 1996. at the age of 75 He was born on February 27, 1921.

He (or his voice) were in two episodes of Lost in Space:
“The Cave of the Wizards” (1967) – Voice of the Alien on Computer Screen
“The Ghost Planet” (1966) – Cybernetic Leader / Supreme Brain (voice)

For what it’s worth, he also appeared in 3 episode of The Twilight Zone:
“Sounds and Silences” (1964) – Psychiatrist
“Mr. Dingle, the Strong” (1961) – 2nd Martian
“Nightmare as a Child” (1960) – Doctor

Little Orphant Annie

With being stuck at home, like most people, I’m trying to find ways to amuse myself and be creative. I’ve been thinking of doing it for a while, so I decided to give it a try.
