This site is meant to be a forum for me to express some of my thoughts, insights and passions. As such, I strive to make this a positive place for learning and conversations. I will steer clear of any possible controversial topics, like politics, religion, etc.
If you’re wondering about the name of this website and the domain name, it goes back to the time when, in high school and college, I played Dungeons and Dragons. Of course, D&D takes place in a fantasy setting, but I often imagined what it would be like if my favorite character, a Dwarven fighter were transported into a science-fiction setting. If there were a comic book about it, I might call the character “The Atomic Dwarf”.
So, when years later, I decided to register my very own domain name on the web, I thought of that. Hence the site. I’ve had this domain for over twenty years now.
