Today’s word is “acquiesce”. Miriam-Webster defines it as “to accept, comply, or submit tacitly or passively —often used with in or to”. To me the word implies no desire to comply, but compliance, nonetheless. It’s the perfect word to describe a decision I’ve been forced to make.
